Responsibilities
· Manage China and Rest of Asia EMD/Sub-assembly sourcing projects with close work with counterparties in North America, South America and Europe.
· Be responsible for identifying, developing and qualifying suppliers in China and ROA and ensure on-time execution of projects by close cooperation with Asian technology, quality, and EHS team.
· Understand strategies for assigned commodities in Asia and proactively take actions to meet cost, quality and availability objectives.
· Drive productivity opportunities with supply base to deliver ""stretch"" material cost take out goals by effectively use e-Auctions and other useful tools.
· Good management on suppliers to ensure good quality and services on constant basis.
· Understand and drive Six Sigma quality internally and with suppliers "
Qualifications
· BS Engineering or Management.
· Experience in EMD, sub-assembly, motor, automotive, electrical/electronic, or similar industries (3 years) Sourcing and manufacturing experience highly desirable
· Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively & independently
· Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Proficiency in computer skills
·Self-starter and Result-Oriented ;
·Good team player and quick learner; ·Willing to Travel and join evening calls .
