Sourcing Engineer
Report line: Purchasing manager, AVL List China.
Purpose of the Position:
Basically this position is to source new supplier, supervise the vendor performance, coordinate the project and customer service demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with local, regional and global resources to execute sourcing plans. Sourcing new vendor; and set up the market price tracking data base
Coordinate with cross functional team in the selection of suppliers in the product development
Develop a supply of the highest quality components based on the criteria of quality, delivery, technical capability and overall business relationships.
Evaluates suppliers' productivity and technology plans. Monitor vendor performance;
Negotiates competitive prices and general contacts.
Support various internal demands;
Qualification Requirements:
University / University of applied mechanical degree
More than 5 years mechanical products in the field of productive material sourcing.
Strong sense of confidentiality to keep all related information secret
Strong sourcing skills in identifying product leads & approaching target companies, knowledge of basic quality inspection and factory evaluation
Data analysis and gathering capabilities
A strong negotiator with suppliers in regard to price, quality and delivery time
Chinese (native speaker), excellent English (written and spoken) language skills
Good team work spirit and can bear heavy workload
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft, Excel, Power point, etc.)
Work Location: Beijing Or Shanghai Office
